Longest Run Yet
Today was the end of week six of the Couch To 5K program, a straight up twenty-five minute run. I ran at work after riding in (on the old bike, unfortunately) and covered about two and a quarter miles on the run.
Nothing big to say about it. I was listening to Sasha & Digweed’s Northern Exposure, and we just got to the good part when I hit the end of the run. I almost kept going, but decided to stick with the program for now. I definitely want to avoid hurting myself.
And looking at Thursday’s run, it looks like interval training is over for me now. Thursday is just another 25 minute run, and the next one too. I guess the last couple weeks are just going to keep me running steadily, and hopefully getting my pace up. I’ll concentrate on that next time. I think I should be able to squeeze an extra lap out next time I do this run.
